Which devices does the BoldSign app work on?
Both iOS and Android, on phones and tablets. On a computer, use the BoldSign web app in any browser.
Do I need a separate account for the mobile app?
No. Log in with your existing BoldSign account. If you are new, create an account in the app instead.
Are documents signed in the mobile app legally binding?
Yes. Signing on your phone is the same as signing in the browser. Signatures you collect with BoldSign are legally binding under the ESIGN Act, UETA, and eIDAS.
Do my signers need to download the app?
No. Signers open the link in your email and sign in any browser, with no BoldSign account. The Android signing guide shows the steps.
Can I collect in-person signatures on my phone?
Yes. You host the session, and the signer signs on your device. The in-person signing page explains how.
