First-year commission = Monthly value × 12 × 30%. For every paid referral, you earn 30% commission during the customer’s first 12 months with BoldSign.
What is an eligible referral?
An eligible referral is a new customer who clicks your affiliate link, purchases an eligible BoldSign paid subscription within the 90-day tracking window, and meets the affiliate program terms.
Do free trials count as referrals?
Free trials may be part of the referral journey, but commission is earned only when the referred user becomes an eligible paying customer.
How are clicks and referrals tracked?
After your application is approved, you will receive a unique affiliate link. BoldSign’s affiliate tracking software uses this link to track conversions. Cookies have a 90-day lifespan.
What happens if the customer upgrades or downgrades?
If the referred customer upgrades or downgrades during the 12-month commission period, your commission is calculated based on the new subscription amount.
How do I get paid?

When will I get paid?
We make payouts weekly for commissions after you pass the initial 30-day hold on each earned commission in Rewardful. For example, if a customer makes a payment on September 1, that payment would become DUE in Rewardful on Oct 1, and we would process the payment within 7 business days after Oct 1.

Can I use someone else’s PayPal account?
No. The name on your PayPal account must match the name on your affiliate account.
Can I run ads as an affiliate?
You may not run ads on BoldSign branded keywords, branded variations, or misspellings. Non-branded ads may be allowed if they follow the affiliate program terms.
Can I use the BoldSign logo or screenshots?
Use only approved BoldSign assets and marketing resources. Do not modify brand assets or present yourself as BoldSign.
Can I create multiple referral links?
You can log in to your affiliate portal to view your referral link and create new referral links where available.
Where can I view my referrals and payouts?
You can log in to the affiliate portal to view current referrals, payout status, referral links, and related account details.
Is the program available globally?
The BoldSign Affiliate Program is available globally, with some exceptions based on regional restrictions and countries where BoldSign cannot do business.
What happens if a customer requests a refund?
Commissions are not paid on refunded or returned orders.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are not eligible. The affiliate and the customer must be different people or businesses.
What if I am a consultant embedding BoldSign for clients?
If you are embedding BoldSign into client applications or offering long-term services to clients, the BoldSign Partner Program may be a better fit.
Are add-on purchases eligible for affiliate commissions?
No. Affiliate commissions are calculated only on a customer's base subscription or license fees. Fees paid for optional add-ons, such as SMS Authentication, Bulk Send, and others, are not eligible for commissions, even if the add-ons are purchased by a customer you referred.
