Send contracts from Salesforce
With BoldSign, you send, track, and store contracts from the Salesforce record you already work in. Fields fill from the record, and the signed copy saves back to it.

What signing outside Salesforce costs your sales team
When signing sits outside Salesforce, reps copy details by hand and lose track of contracts. BoldSign keeps each step on the record.
Details retyped by hand
Copied names and amounts lead to contract errors.
Deals stall after the yes
Contracts get downloaded, emailed, and forgotten.
No view of the status
Reps cannot tell if the customer opened it.
Signed copies go missing
The signed copy never reaches the record.
How does an eSignature integration with Salesforce help?
With BoldSign, you never switch out of Salesforce to get a contract signed. You create, send, track, and file it on the record.
Reusable templates
You create a signing template in BoldSign once. Your team then reuses it on any Salesforce record.

Map fields such as contact name, email, account, amount, and close date to template fields. Documents fill in with CRM data, so nothing is retyped.

Use a template for repeat contracts, or upload a one-off document from the record. Either way, you never leave Salesforce.

Completed documents stay in BoldSign and save to the matching Salesforce record. Your team finds them under Notes and Attachments.

How do you send a contract for signature from Salesforce?
With BoldSign, you send from the Salesforce record in three steps. An admin sets up the templates first.
Choose a template on the record
Open a lead, contact, account, or opportunity. Pick a template in the BoldSign card.

Available on the Salesforce AppExchange
BoldSign is listed on the Salesforce AppExchange, which Salesforce now shows as AgentExchange. Your Salesforce admin installs it from the listing.
How do you set up an eSignature integration with Salesforce?
BoldSign needs a one-time setup, with no code. A BoldSign account admin and a Salesforce admin do it together, in four steps.
- 1
Turn on Salesforce in BoldSign
An account admin turns on Salesforce under Integrations in BoldSign and accepts the add-on charge for the plan.
- 2
Install and connect the app
A Salesforce admin installs the BoldSign app from the AppExchange. The BoldSign account is connected from the app setup page.
- 3
Add the cards and assign access
The admin adds the BoldSign cards to record pages. Each person then gets the admin or user permission set.
- 4
Map templates to record fields
The admin picks BoldSign templates for Salesforce and maps each field and signer role to a record field.

Questions teams ask about eSignature in Salesforce
Which BoldSign plan do I need for the Salesforce integration?
The Business or Premium plan with the Salesforce add-on. It is not on the Growth or Enterprise API plans. Compare plans on the pricing page.
Do signers need a Salesforce or BoldSign account?
No. Signers get an email link and sign from any device without a BoldSign or Salesforce account. See how signing works for recipients.
Do mapped fields fill a document I upload?
No. Mapped fields fill only from templates. Build a template for each contract you send often.
What can you see in Salesforce after you send a contract?
Every document sent from a record shows on that record with its status. Only the sender can send a reminder or revoke it, as the tracking guide explains.
