“Everything that the world does now needs software, and the pandemic has only accentuated that fact, and that’s not going to change anytime soon,” CEO Daniel Jebaraj recently told an audience of employees who assembled on Dec. 2, 2021, at Morrisville Community Park to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary.
When Syncfusion started in 2001, the software component market consisted mostly of companies specializing in specific controls; there was no reliable single source developers could call upon for all their components. Syncfusion sought to establish itself as a place for everything needed to build the complex applications that market forces demand.
“Whenever we had a chance to grow, even if the constraints were there, like financial constraints, we never took the easy way out,” Jebaraj told the crowd. “We always said, ‘let’s get out of our comfort zone; let’s find something new; let’s go out and really do more.’ That ‘do more’ attitude has been there for many years.”
Today, Syncfusion products are in the hands of more than a million developers. The company offers a comprehensive suite containing thousands of components for web, desktop, and mobile apps, and it provides enterprise solutions in its Bold line of products: Bold BI, Bold Reports, and BoldSign.
