Webinar recap
The webinar opened by exploring a common challenge many organizations face when managing document workflows that require reviews, approvals, and signatures. Traditional processes often involve manual tasks such as sending documents, tracking progress, updating records, and storing completed files, which can slow down business operations.
Gayathri then introduced how Power Automate and BoldSign work together to create an automated workflow. Power Automate connects systems and triggers actions, while BoldSign manages the eSignature process. Together, they automate the document lifecycle and reduce manual intervention.
The session then moved into a live demonstration using a client contract workflow. The demo showed how adding a new item to a SharePoint list automatically triggered a Power Automate flow that sent a document for signature through BoldSign. Team members received notifications in Microsoft Teams, while the signer received the document via email.
Next, the webinar demonstrated the signing experience from the signer’s perspective. After receiving the document by email, the signer opened the signing link and completed the signing process through BoldSign. Once the document was signed, the workflow automatically updated the status in SharePoint, notified the team, and stored the signed document in SharePoint.
The session also included a walkthrough of the workflow configuration in Power Automate, covering SharePoint triggers, BoldSign templates, document status updates, and Teams notifications.
Finally, the webinar explored webhook-driven automation, showing how the document completed event can automatically update records, save signed documents to SharePoint, and notify stakeholders in real time. The session also covered best practices for building reliable and scalable workflows with Power Automate and BoldSign. The session concluded by highlighting the key benefits organizations can achieve by combining Power Automate and BoldSign for document automation.
