Syncfusion exhibited at the SACS User Conference that was held March 13–15 at the Sandestin Resort in Destin, Florida. SACS Software has embedded BoldSign into their software modules to help their customers, housing authorities, integrate digital signing into their signature-based workflows. So far, a percentage have already starting using this new integration and many more are eager to sign up. In their efforts to go paperless and streamline processes, digital signing is a key component, and as representatives of BoldSign, VP Christian Grossman and I were happy to attend their conference to discuss it.
In the keynote, Christian and I learned from CEO Danny Lloyd and VP Grant Dark of SACS Software that HUD (the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) is moving toward digital documentation. This means that SACS Software will have to help their customers, the housing authorities, make this transition, as well. This change at the federal level will create a more prominent and pressing need for esignature solutions. Eventually, each government entity at the state level will be going paperless and using digital workflows for capturing signatures, too. Danny Lloyd mentioned Syncfusion as a valuable solution provider whose BoldSign product is enabling them to embed digital signing into the SACS Software modules.
The attendees were as enthusiastic about the conference as we were, learning about the latest ways to digitize their processes. To our delight, there were at least three sessions in the conference in which the power of BoldSign was highlighted to streamline processes and enable digital signing. The housing authorities are still mostly using a paper process for all signing of documents. So, several attendees came over to the Syncfusion booth after these sessions to say, “Please sign us up for BoldSign now!” This made us all laugh. We made sure to show them the cool features of BoldSign and connect them with their contact at SACS Software so they could take the next steps for the integration.
The customers of the housing authorities are their residents who often need or want many signing options. With BoldSign embedded into SACS Software, the managers at the housing authorities can offer three ways to sign:
- In person, on paper.
- In person, using a signature pad (hardware SACS provides).
- Remotely or in person using a personal device.
We enjoyed meeting the SACS Software leadership and team at this conference. We appreciated the invitation to work closely with our BoldSign Partner and get to know their customer base, as well. It is great to see the excitement about and real impact that BoldSign can have in helping managers at housing authorities to save time, save money, and offer better service to their residents.
