Every BoldSign plan includes custom branding. Sending from your own email domain starts on the Business plan.

BoldSign applies the brand to the request email, the signing page, and the audit trail. A request reads as coming from you, from the first email to the signed copy.

Works in: the BoldSign web app and the API. The iOS and Android apps send with a brand you already created.

Setup

How do I add my company logo and branding to e-signature request emails?

In BoldSign, you create a brand once with your logo, colors, and the name signers see. Then you choose it when you send, or set it as the default (step-by-step guide).

Create a brand

In Settings, open Branding and select Create New Brand.

Upload your logo, pick the colors, and set the From name signers see.

Choose how signing works under the brand

Choose how signed copies reach signers, add legal terms, and set a time zone.

Write the emails in your own words

Edit the subject and body of the emails signers receive, on the Business plan and higher.

Send from your own email domain

Set a From name and mail subdomain in Business Profile.

Limitations

Limits and costs to know before you brand signature requests with BoldSign

Your logo and colors work on every plan, Powered by BoldSign can be hidden from the Growth plan, and your own email domain and email wording come with the Business plan. Signing links still use a BoldSign web address.

Before you set up your brand

Your own email domain and custom email wording both need BoldSign approval. Add the domain in Business Profile, then raise a support ticket. It goes live once you add the mail records BoldSign sends. Custom email wording goes live once the BoldSign team approves it.
Signing links cannot use your own web address.

For developers

Can you brand signing inside your own app?

Yes, the BoldSign API creates a brand for each customer and attaches it to every request your software sends. One account serves every customer, each under its own logo.

Can I brand my digital contracts?

Yes. Every contract you send with BoldSign carries your logo and colors on the email and the signing page.

Does custom branding change whether a signature is legally binding?

No. Branding changes how a request looks, not the signing record. BoldSign complies with the ESIGN Act, UETA, and eIDAS, so signatures stay secure and legally binding.

Can I remove the BoldSign logo from signature request emails?

Yes. BoldSign lets you hide Powered by BoldSign in your brand settings on the Growth plan and higher (pricing).

Do signers need a BoldSign account to sign a branded document?

No. BoldSign signers open your branded email and sign in the browser with no account, app, or payment. Only the people who send documents need a BoldSign account.

What logo file can I upload for a brand?

BoldSign accepts JPG, PNG, and SVG logos up to 512KB (file rules).

Does custom branding cost extra in BoldSign?

No. Custom branding is part of every BoldSign plan, with no fee per brand. The only extra branding charge is $5 a month for each additional custom email domain on Business and higher plans (details).
